The choir sees itself as African (composed of members of different nationalities, whose roots in one way or other lead back to the African continent) and gospel – spreading the gospel through song, dance and joy.

A total of 25 people from different countries sing in the choir. Besides Angola, Burundi, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Sierra Leone, Burkina Faso and Nigeria, choir members also come from the USA, Jamaica, Guyana, France and Germany.

The choir is conducted by two great personalities in the Afro-gospel scene: Danny Wazolua and Francisco Ndembo Pedro.

The ensemble possesses over 60 songs of every kind of church music. This includes African church folklore, Negro spirituals, North American gospel and European church music.

A Capella is the hallmark of the choir. The tonic sol-fa* Tonic Sol-fa * notes are, therefore, most suitable for this kind of music
